The retirement party for Generals Andy Burke and Russ Levy is in full swing! At the moment, General Lee and his Staff are enjoying a front row seat for a lively dance number. Amazingly limber performance. Push your way on down and have a gander. The celebration will go on for some time, as there are many stories to share about these two storied officers, both of whom are retiring in August.

General Burke (4/1/II) joined the ACWGC from England in 2001
General Levy (2/2/II) joined the ACWGC from North Carolina in 1999

We salute these fine players and all around good sports! Best of luck boys. When RL gets a might tame, y'all know where to turn.

Sorry to see these two officers depart from the field! Let's hope that it will only be a temporary situation for each of them.

<SALUTE>

Andy and Russ, sorry to see you go, the AoG will have some big shoes to fill...26 years worth!

Hope you might be able to return sometime down the road.

Many thanks for your fine service gents - you were both senior officer when I first joined the AoG back in 2007. If you ever feel the urge to return to the colours just drop by my tent <salute>

Gentlemen! <salute>

I am sad to see these old war horses finally call it quits! If you check out both of their battles reports you will see they have been around for some time, both of them read like a who's who listing of their gaming opponents in the ACWGC!

Russ started back in June of 1999 and quickly rose in rank and command, assuming command of the newly formed II Corps of the Army of Georgia in June 2000. He rose to command of the Army of Georgia in November of 2001. He joined the Staff at VMI in January of 2000 and before he retired from VMI had trained 55 Cadets of which I was one of them in 2004. He has achieved over 3000 OBD Points. He has been a Friend and mentor to me since the early days of my joining the Club.

Andy Joined back in August of 2001. He rose through the ranks and assumed command of the Army of Georgia in October 2005. He has bee been a main stay here in the Army of Georgia and has achieved over 2600 OBD Points in his career, he will be greatly missed!

All the very best in your retirement Gentlemen!
