The Battle of Wilson's Creek, Aug 10, 1861 (Historical) Weather rules(03 Wilson's Creek_Histscn_W.SCN) I played the version "03 Wilson's Creek_Histscn_W.SCN", this is just like the original scenario but with weather lines added to the PDT. Points of interest: Various minor OOB things came up. - Is the 3rd Union Brigade supposed to have 4 companies for the 2nd US Infantry, seems there are only 3 or should the B,E/2nd US Inf be 3 companies strong? - Aren't the 2 Homeguard units in 3rd Brigade supposed to be attached to 4th Brigade? - Rains 8th Division of Missouri State Guard shows up in official OOBs as 2nd Division. - There is a 5th Regiment although only 1st to 4th regiments of Missouri State Guard Infantry are know to be under 1st Brigade of 8th Division, but the 4th Regiment is missing and instead there is a 4th Battalion under 1st Brigade of 8th Division that is unknown. - Carroll’s Cavalry under Cpt Charles Carroll is missing under Pearce’s Division, Arkansas State Troops. Recommendations: - As nothing serious seems wrong the minor things mentioned could be fixed if they can be clarified. Weather version specific: - Day tuns start at 4:40 what is too early as dawn starts at 5:58 it could be at best set to the 5:40 turn. (Based on UTC-5, TZ: America/Chicago DST CDT) |
