The Battle of Newtonia, Sept 30, 1862 (Historical) Weather rules(08 Newtonia_Histscn_W.SCN) I played the version "08 Newtonia_Histscn_W.SCN", this is just like the original scenario but with weather lines added to the PDT. Points of interest: - Few details can be found and most sources don't even get that is was basically a split battle with a longer lull till the action started again in the afternoon. With that said and idea would be to make the scale smaller and do it on company level with maybe 10 minutes turns. Maybe that would enable also to depict the action in the morning and not only the afternoon action like it currently is. Recommendations: - Consider a rework on company level. Weather version specific: - Night turns should start at the 19:40 turn. That may make one consider extending the scenario as the current end is when the night turns start. (Based on UTC-5, TZ: America/Chicago DST CDT) |
