Battle of Cane Hill, Nov. 28, 1862 (Historical) Weather rules(09 Cane Hill_Histscn_W.SCN)
I played the version "09 Cane Hill_Histscn_W.SCN", this is just like the original scenario but with weather lines added to the PDT.

Points of interest:
- The new timed objectives should be used to turn this more into a running battle, casualties were pretty low despite the troops involved, that is because there was only one serious stand at Cove Creek. The new objectives could support this better than the old static. Only at Cove Creek should a normal VP hex be placed to foster a serious defense by the Confederates.
- Is the Union strength correct? Usually sources give about 5000 while the scenario gives 6310 men, that is over a 1/4 more than sources usually mention for the Union, even with 5000 the Union strongly outnumbers the Confederates so no need to give the Union higher values when there is doubt about the numbers.

Recommendations:
- Replace static objectives with new timed objectives, these should give very few VPs and should disappear quickly to foster a running battle and support no serious stand except at Cove Creek.
- Lower Union troops strength to about 5000, maybe easiest to do with the Indian Home Guards.

Weather version specific:
- To fit with the day turns starting at 06:00 the night turns should start at the 19:00 turn(Based on UTC-5, TZ: America/Chicago DST CDT). Run time should also be extended to cover this, this would also make in more likely that a final stand is made at Cove creek like it historically happened.

When I saw Gen Strickler's tournament was going to use Ozark and Forgotten Campaigns- I had a quick browse of Ozark yesterday - and had a look into this one.

As I usually do these passes in solo hotseat mode, I noticed something a little odd. CSA's Quantrill unit (a 33 man cav unit) was armed with 'p' weapons in the OOB file (which are 8 inch naval Dahlgren guns (in other words ... cannons), and it looked like it was probably a typo and was intended to have been P (which are pistols). I guess that I should have tried firing with it, to see if it operated as cannons or it didn't do anything at all.

OOB file was created in 2019, and in stock -just logging this here as acknowledging that this issue was passed along to Rich at WDS (and receipt was acknowledged).

Quantrill armed with big guns; that's very exciting. I don't think Quantrill would have any hesitation in firing them off.
