I have always been interested in what would have happened at Gettysburg if things had been reversed and the Rebs had been defending and the Yanks were attacking. In BGG there is a scenario called “This Seems Familiar” but in my view it did not play well (especially if you played as the Rebs) and I could not find something in the similar vain in HPS Gettysburg, so I decided to do one up – so hence we have “ A Reversal of Fortunes”. This scenario has the CSA defending and the Union attacking. The CSA is set up on the map with the same numbers and types of units as was the Union on the day, and the CSA reinforcements come on at the same rate as the Union originals - from the same entry hexes. The opposite is true for the Union set-up and reinforcements.

However both sides end up with the same amount on men on the map as in the original battle. I would like to acknowledge all the work General Ned Simms did on the OoB and reinforcement schedule – he taught me a lot about scenario design (truth be told he did most of the work). Also General John Dragan and General Derald Riggs who undertook the play testing <salute>

If you want a copy please e-mail me, if possible I will also get it placed at the SDC and Game Squad - ENJOY
