Gentlemen <salute>

I wish to advise that I have tendered my resignation to the GiC, Gen. Strickler, from my position as Commander of the Army of Tennessee.

I do so for personal reasons and believe a change in command is warranted at this time.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank all those who have counselled, advised and assisted me throughout my tenure as commander of the AoT. There are far too many to name individually, but of particular note I must mention my Corps Commanders, Joe Medeiros, Nick Kunz and in more recent times Tim Reneau.

In addition, I must also mention Blake Strickler who as GiC, provided me the opportunity, in the first instance, to both serve in the position of AC and who throughout was a source of unfailing guidance and advice.

Gentlemen, I offer you my deepest thanks, gratitude and appreciation.
