How many club members live in the North East and is there any interest in a get together?

Harrisburg, PA here. It would depend on when and where, but I would be interested.

I live just outside Boston and am not sure I can convince my wife we MUST travel to another renunion, but there is always hope.[:o)][:X][:X][:X][:X]

I live on the PA/MD border but workin' 6 days a week doesn't leave much time. Still, anything from northen VA to Harrisburg/Gettysburg is easy enough... But like has been already said, Tillercon should have been easy enough for most NE folks. An opponent mentioned to me about a miniatures/wargame convention 21-24 July in Lancaster PA called www.historicon.org
I figured thats so close I'd stop by even though I'm not into miniatures. I told the guy while he's there he should visit MajGen Reynolds grave near the center of town.

I can't think of the name of it, but the motel closest to the electric map has a small bar that is rarely crowded. A few of the tourguides and reenactors stop but for a drink but not many of the tourists. It used to be called the Mine Shaft and now The Reliance Mine I think. They have a pool and standard rooms. I think it's a Quality Inn or a Comfort Inn. In walking distance of Pickett's Buffet which has all you can eat lunch for $7 and dinner for $10, plus extra for beer or other adult beverages. Sometimes has the movie soundtrack playing in the background. Since I work six days a week and don't live all that far, I'd only be able to show up from late afternoon on a Saturday through Sunday. Up the road aways is Harrisburg with the National Civil War Museum that I have yet to visit. I think it opened around Feb 2001 or so.
