I don't think I have ever received such a confirmation email. Are Theater Commanders supposed to receive them?

If you are below the rank of General and you qualify pointwise for a promotion, please try out the link. Do not do it more than once for each promotion level though as it sends an email to your commanding officers up the chain of command, including the COA's each time you open the dispatch by pressing the button. That promotion could take a while if your CO or the COA gets 200 emails from you. [:0]
