1 - Do you want to have some fun? How about an ACWGC sanctioned single elimination tournament using HPS Gettysburg! But there are so many options and they make such a big difference, you say – well don’t worry about that because you can join:
a - the Round Top Division of the tournament played in turns where all options are on except MDF and Optional Melee Resolution; or
b - the Cemetery Ridge Division played in optional turns with all options on except MDF to include Optional Melee Resolution is turned on; or
c - the Culp’s Hill Division played in phases with all options on to include MDF and Optional Melee Resolution; or
d - maybe you want to sign up for two of them or all of them.
2 - You’re worried about embarrassing yourself? Let me let you in on a secret. There is only going to be one winner in each of those divisions so everybody is going to lose except for one person so you’ve got a lot of company if you lose.
3 - Pull for yourself, pull for your army, pull for your side, pull for your friends, but sign up today by answering this post or sending an e-mail to Lt Gen Ned Simms at tnbloodngutsATyahoo.com. You’ve got until midnight CST 23 January 2010 to sign up. In order to sign up, you have to specify rank, name, USA or CSA army, and which divisions of the tournament that you are signing up for. Have your whole corps to sign up and see how far you can get.
4 - The website for the High Tide Tournament is at
http://garyned.tripod.com/High%20Tide%20Home.htm . Brackets will be determined after everyone signs up.
