Gentlemen,

I am looking for a more efficent way to keep my own records. The Battle Reports that I have been doing turn by turn are rather lengthy and time consuming.

Any formats, ideas, or suggestions are MORE than welcome.

Regards,

Lt. Smith,

Since this is for your own records anyway, just consider what information might be important to you down the road. For instance, if you decide to play this same game again, what would help you play it better?

If I were going to keep a turn-by-turn record of a battle, I would probably just summarize what happened. For example, "Left wing advanced to cross the bridge while right held at the fords. This turned out to be a bad decision." Of course, I would probably stop using the second sentence altogether since it would be so redundant turn after turn. (ALL my decisions turn out to be bad [B)] !)

Your humble servant,
