Best we have some fine rooms outside of the fence, and for the General there's some nice one room cell, I mean studio apart. in fact theres one next to General Moose and Ms. LuLu [:p]. Just call me at BR-549 and leave a message

<font face="Andale Mono"><font size="4"><font color="pink">All I can say is lets get it over with now! I am flying into Reagen International next Friday (Feb 23) at least I hope I am! The following week we go a sightseeing of some ACW battlefields! Going to be hard to do in a foot of snow!

Ya'll take care of yourselves in all of this nasty weather! We have it tough out in the Pacific Northwest, oh lets see, about 50 degrees and some of that wet stuff, oh yeah, Seattle rain!

Well since ya'll seem to be handling it pretty well, I thought I would share another NW tale. We had to fight thru the sunshine today with a high of almost 65 degrees. It was nasty, driving along delivering the mail with this bright sunshine in our faces, you see, this time of the year the sun is so low in the horizon that it can be real blinding, but somehow we managed!

You wimps!

I was in Timmins, Ontario last week...you know, home of Shania Twain and Steve Sullivan...whatever. Anyways, woke up twice to temps of -38C...now, seeing as -40C and -40F are one and the same, figure it out for yourselves. And you think -14F is cold???

Oh have we all forgotten what winter was!! [:P] It's chilly this morning, but the sun is out. [:)] For once we didn't get socked here as bad as the rest of the Great Lakes area. [:)]

But boy was the wind chill brutual, some of our southern Counties in the area of my state had -20 F temps for two days straight. Thankfully wasn't too bad by me and the Sun was out, to blind me in the snow while driving... [:P]

Enjoy everyone!! [:)]

Note to all the unsnowed masses - these temps reflect wind chill normally, which is obviously only feel like that when the wind blows at you. So you bundle up and your ok.

Now my friend in New York City, has said it stinks because they mostly use public transit down there or walk, henceforth you freeze. [:)] By me we use mostly cars, so you only freeze a little. [:)]

Last time I've seen temps that cold was went I was in the Navy and did three deployments to Antarctica, we would sometimes get -100 with the windchill. I could place a can of Coke outside and within 5 minutes have a Coke sluchie [:D]. Good thing I live in North Carolina and only see a low of in the mid teens sometimes.

27 inches on Wednesday, another 10 on Friday. As of the 16th it was the snowiest February ever for Utica, NY . And there were still 12 days to go! I have been entertaining thoughts of defecting to the Rebs so I can move south and away from this crap!

Oh my heart go's out to ya'll who live north of the M/D line. Makes my back hurt just thinking of ya'll having to shovel all of that snow[:D]. So I raise a toast of a Hot Toddie for the body, stay warm. And General Lastowicka and any of you yankees who are thinking of moving south "DON'T", we have enough yankees down here to last a life time[:p]. But if you must move south, keep going until you reach Florida thats were all of the snow birds go anyway, and Florida is just another New York.[:D] Just joking, hope ya'll can make it until spring
