Wow - so many choices. Should be great job security for you, Rick! 1 - Cedar Mtn to 2BR, then the Invasion of Maryland 1862. I agree, might be more fun to have these distinct. Now, if you wanna throw both campaigns into 1 game, that's fine with me![:D] 2 - Grants Overland Campaign 3 - Murfreesboro to Chickamauga I'll also add this - I'd get a second job if I had to for ANY of the titles discussed in this string, they all would pry money out of my wallet... ![]() General Jeff Laub Union Chief of the Army ACWGC Cabinet Member http://www.geocities.com/laubster22/UnionHQ/ |

Bill Peters, The Boise Rifles, II Corps Artillery, AoA <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote"> Actually, the lag between 2nd Manassas and the Maryland campaign was at most 2 days. Manassas was fought Aug 28-30th, Lee attacked at Chantilly on Sept 1st, and was shifting north on Sept 3rd after receiving final permission from Davis (previously discussed pending circumstances). Advanced elements crossed the Potomac on Sept 4th. Hence why I prefer a single large campaign combining both - it was a very fluid situation. If there was a lag, it was only the day of Sept 2nd while Lee rested the ANV and confirmed his plans with Davis. After all, we already have maps for nearly the entire theater of opperations on Gettysburg disk... [:D] Regards, Brig. Gen. Alan Lynn 2nd Div, II Corps, AoA VMI Training Staff God Bless <>< |

Thanks, I was doing the same thing, but I was giving points. 15 for 1st, 10 for 2nd, and 5 for 3rd. If you do it that way, it comes out a bit different. But, keep in mind. I posted this to get an idea. But that doesn't mean 1st first will be the next released game. But it does certainly help! <blockquote id="quote"><font size="3" face="book antiqua" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"><i>Originally posted by DwightMcBride</i> <br /> The voting so far: (several choices combined/condensed) WILDERNESS - 10 SHENANDOAH - 9 MURF/CHICK/CHATT - 9 2BR/ANTIETAM - 9 FRED/CHANC - 3 PERRY/KENTUCKY - 2 RED RIVER - 1 Sincerely, Brig Gen Dwight McBride 1st Brigade ("The Regulars") 2nd Division/V Corps/AOP/USA <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote"> Major Richard Walker I Corps Army of the Mississippi 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division "Defenders of Tennessee" |

1) Shenandoah 2) Murfreesboro - Chickamauga - Chattanooga 3) Anything not usually covered - Mobile/New Orleans, Stoneman's/Grierson's raids, New Mexico I'd also second the Carolina battles, or anything small - Lee's early battles, Florida/coastal/port battles, etc - that could be included as related stand-alone battles/mini-campaigns in a campaign module. The reason I've played Ozark more than anything else is that's about all I can manage these days (and lately, not even that [:(]). So a campaign where I can do a battle turn in a few minutes would be great. I love the larger battles, but those are becoming more difficult to manage as Real Life (tm) intrudes. My .02 (before tax).
