As much as I would like to take credit for the consolidation of facilities, I must admit I got the idea from the many reb encampments I have overrun.

I think you are confusing "Reb Encampments" with Camp Douglas and Elmira.......

If you don't like bathing more than annually (around your birthday) by all means join the rebels.[xx(]

If you look at family reunions as a nice place to pick up girls, then the Rebel army is for you![:p]

General Golen,

Thank you very much for providing Mr Jack with an insight into our dental health care, personal bathing habits, mail services and family reunion policy. However only providing a list of the high points is most certainly not giving Mr Jack a fair and balanced view. Given all the advice and opinions provided in this set of posts he will now be well armed to make a decision. However there is one key point, it is not about the battle and all that war stuff it is all about how one looks when on the battle field or in the ballroom, so having a dashing grey uniform will place any man above another. As that great Rebel General Tommy Hilfiger said “If you are going to a battle or a ballroom do so with style and who cares who winsâ€

General McOmish makes a good point. But who can outstyle a charging line of Union Zouaves? And they would look equally stylish on the ballroom floor!

General Ringbloom,

You do make a fair point, as those Zouaves would look good anywhere, damn flash as[8D] Well Mr Jack your options are - become a rebel officer and get a nice styled grey uniform, or join the ranks as a Zouave. I can't remember if the Zouave Officers wore a similar uniform to the men?

Indeed, we have several Zouave uniforms on the dance floor at Miss Clarissa's and they do look quite stylish.[8D]

Yes, I understand the Rebs can field zouaves as well although I couldn't find a picture of one.

No doubt the General has seen some remarkable floor shows in course of his long service;[;)] but General, Sir, the zouave uniforms I was thinking of are displayed more as a floor covering, although still quite stylish.
