When ordering a new game have it sent to your work place then sneak it in and pretend it's an old game that you decided to play again[:0] Respectfully, Brig. Gen. Gery Bastiani II Corps, 3rd Div. It will probably include Fredricksburg as well, as that battle was fairly close both physically and chronologically. I don't think the Mud March scenario will get much play. It had to be frustrating for the Yanks, and the Rebs weren't even involved. I guess that would make it a good solitaire game though.[:D] MG Mike Mihalik 1/III/AoMiss/CSA |

I can see it now: No Rebs on the map, special weather rules allowing only 1-hex movement for any unit in any formation, and they get points for throwing away equipment! Chancelorsville will be a tough one to do under the HPS system. I am not sure the Fixed rules can handle the lack of initiative on the Union side. And, if the Union can ever move its troops the war is over for the ANV. Unless you are using the Hooker Rule but it only works for board games or maybe Hot Seat but not play by mail. Only way I see to do it would be have a set of linked scenarios covering different parts of the battle even though some may be occuring simultaneously. LG. LG Whitehead, I agree wih you that it would be difficult, but I sure would like to see them try! (after Bull Run 2 at least![:D]) I think some folks may come up with a great way to still have fun with that campaign. If you could get the FOW decent enough with some of the Campaign variations, the Rebs could still have the potential for a concentrated attack where they get local numbers superiority...
