Col. Simms,

The clubs administrations want real names to be used. It does not have to be complete but consistent. The Cabinet and the CoA's will monitor the membership and any fraudulent attempts will be harshly dealt with. You know the Cabinet has no qualms in doing so. The Cabinet and Senior Commanders will usually find out about such activity.

I hope that the people who join the club wish to enjoy it and contribute in a constructive way. Those that get their kicks in abusing membership privileges are a sore full bunch. In the overall scheme of things it does little harm and is a nuisance at best. However, if found it will be dealt with.

The level of camaraderie and friendship amongst the members differentiates this club from others. It will continue as such.

The lack of explicit rules does not meant that the spirit of the Clubs intent is not being maintained or monitored.

The Cabinet has the final say in all matters regarding the club.

Best Regards,

General Pierre D.

Thank you for the clarification. 99% of those who want to use a different name have no malice at heart and don't use it for malice. Sometimes, we all don't agree though on what is wrong and what is not and the club has to define the boundary lines. As originally said, I can live with whichever way that the club prefers it. It's the fair and equal implementation of the policy from Army to Army that has been nonstandard at times in the past. Maybe this discussion will enlighten all of us on the subject.

Ok Guys!

Ye have embarrassed me into revealing my true Identity.

My Real Name is:

Quasimodo Phartartz Snaarglrpfoofer II. [:I]

P'raps now, Y'all can unnerstand why I wished to keep my identity secret until Today? [:D]

Seriously tho' . . . I personally can't see a problem with a member of the Club assuming a "Role" and inventing a name for their character providing . . . .

1. They register with the club under their True Name

2. Their "Persona bellum" is NOT an Historical one. i.e.
NO General Lees or General Meades etc.
