<br />Great movie Robin Hood! They just don't make swashbucklers like Errol Flynn anymore. I wonder if you can still visit the forest in Chico?

Absolutely! Its called Bidwell Park and is the third largest city park in the USA, I believe, after Central Park and one other. Its named after John Bidwell who was on the first wagon train west. Gen. Sherman mentions meeting him one night in the late 1840's on his way to French Creek(Sacramento).

Gentlemen of the Army of Mississippi!

The Fourth Cavalry Corps is assembling to take part in the Western Thunder tournament, and all good Southron's are bound to take part!

Let all brigade commanders who are available report in to their division commanders as to their willingness to participate in what promises to be a campaign that will have our proud steeds drinking from the Ohio within a fortnight!

Hurrah for the Southern Confederacy!

If Errol Flynn was a Nazi (always debated) it just goes to show that crazy Hollywood liberals have always been, and will sure keep being, a dangerous bunch [:)]

They also filmed a lot of Gone with the Wind in Bidwell Park (I was in Chico and went for a hike there over Thanksgiving 2009)

Gents,
Drinks are on me, as my command has just returned from a stunning Major Victory just south of Prairie Grove Church, combined with the other actions fought by my men in days previously, the campaign ended with a Major Confederate Victory, and the destruction of the Union army defending Missouri.

St. Louis, and Huzzah!

Compliments to my valiant opponent, Dave Elkin, for a well fought campaign (and almost completely destroying my cavalry forces in the first 2 battles!). Luckily for the Southern Confederacy, these losses were more than made up for by the elimination of Blunt's Kansas division, the capture of various high ranking Union officers, and the constant harassment of his lines of communications by sneaky Rebel cavalry.

Pretty neat work! I love Hooper's Troopers. The Naval department was an original thought. Now do you have naval ranks to match those flotillas?

Very impressive, I am most pleased with the reorganization. It will certainly give us the edge in the Western Thunder Tournament. However I have just received the bill for those new ships and they ain't cheap, plus all that gold braid for the ship commanders - I am going to have to get my team to do some serious raiding to pay for all this. As you all may be aware I am an equal opportunity raider, so stand by for boarders [:D][8D]

Thanks guys for the good thoughts! No. We have no official Naval ranks. But Mallory has been seen a few times asking the ladies to call him Commodore.
