Gentlemen,
As the (outgoing) Commander of the Army of the Cumberland, and the AoC representative in "The Great Tennessee Turkey Shootout" tournament (
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/a.r.barlow ... 2005-6.htm) between the AoC and the AoG, it is my solemn duty to concede defeat in this tournament and to praise the valour and fighting spirit of the AoG. It was hotly contested and there wasn't much between the two armies but the AoG won out in the end. A look through the archives confirms that our armies have clashed twice with one tournament victory each (the first being the 2001 tournament which the AoC won). For now we will lick our wounds but look forward to the day when we meet in battle again and settle this thing once and for all....
<Salute>
