Rich,

A few of us are getting ready to play your Hypothetical scenario designed for Multi-player gaming, Gettysburg - Struggle for Control. We noticed you have an altered PDT file.

Our questions are whether this PDT file will affect current HPS Gettysburg scenarios we are playing and whether it will affect future HPS Gettysburg scenarios we decide to start. Just wondering how an altered PDT file affects other games.

We look forward to playing your scenario. Thanks for designing it.[:)]

I am not an expert, but I play one on TV.[:D]

If you open any scenario file. you will see that the specific scenario "calls" for specific MAP, OOB and PDT files.

So, there is no effect of your play, UNLESS the PDT file for THAT particular scenario overwrites existing PDT files, etc.

Also, AFAIK, there is no effect on current games.

Thanks Ernie! That makes sense it. I also did a search and saw where there are several PDT files. I thought there was one that controlled all the scenarios, but I see that each PDT file is named individually.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what patch your referring to. There will soon be a Shiloh 1.03c. However, none of my pdts will affect Gettysburg. I recently adjusted the pdts for Shiloh, such that Supply Wagons will pay the same terrain cost as limbered artillery.

BTW, I haven't designed any scenarios for Gettysburg

Sorry Rich, I was thinking of Rich Hamilton. He created a hypothetical Gettysburg Scenario (http://www.xtreme-gamer.com/forums/down ... o=cat&id=7).

And Ernie answered my question about pdt file.

Thx everyone.
