Gentlemen of the Club,

I have heard from General Chris Cross. He was without internet connection for a while and is just now getting back on on-line. He sends his apologies.

No word yet on whether he will be able to return to his duties immediately, or in the near future. For the time being, we will continue with our current arrangements of having General Jon Cuneo serve as Acting CSA CoA.

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory

Chris, this is indeed great news! To me, no matter the rank or position, all members of this Great Gaming Club are an important link in the greater chain of the Club! I look forward to your full return to Club activities and am glad that you are okay!

It is also a sign of the strength of this Club that we have members who can pick up and carry the load to keep this Club running. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO THE BOSS, GENERAL JON CUNEO for stepping up and filling the void!

If there is a lesson here it would be that all commands down to the Division level should look to appoint and train at least one other member of their organization to assume command, whether on a temporary or permanent basis. If you are a subordinate ask your Commander for the job of backup, call it Deputy or Adjutant!

Respectfully,
