Post subject:  VMI Distinguished Service Awards

<font face="Andale Mono"><font size="4"><font color="pink">Gentlemen! <salute>

It give me great pleasure to announce the awarding of the VMI Distinguished Service Award to the following very deserving individuals:

<font color="beige">General Russ Levy, Army of Georgia, 3rd Award, VMI Instructor
General Johann Huels, Eastern Theater Commander, VMI Instructor
General Tony Malone, AotM Commander, VMI Instructor
Lieutenant General Kennon Whitehead, Commandant, War College
Major General David McGown Jr., AoA, Instructor, Adjutant and Deputy Commandant
Major General Willie Tisdale, ANV, Instructor and Adjutant
Major General Tom Phillips, AoA, first Dean of Cadets</font id="beige">

It goes without saying that VMI runs smoothly with the assistance of many individuals like those above, my thanks and gratitude to each one!

As seems to be the case all to often I have forgotten a very important part of VMI! We are not just a recruiting station and an OCS institution but also the continued education with our War College. Commandant Whitehead has lead the charge in this most worthwhile effort, many thanks Kennon!

Respectfully,

A thank you to you and your staff. Now get off your chair and kick some Yankee butt......
