Post subject:  CSA CoA Vacancy

Officers of the Club:

General Chris Cross has only been able to contact the Cabinet once in the past several months. General Jon Cuneo has been serving as 'acting' CSA CoA, to keep things running. However, the time has come to take official action regarding this matter.

1) Per Club Rule 3.3.5, the Cabinet has declared the positon of CSA Chief of the Armies officially vacant.

2) Per Club Rule 3.3.5.3, I have appointed General Jon Cuneo to serve as Interim CSA CoA.

These changes are merely technical, so we can proceed with the selection of a new CSA CoA. General Cuneo will be performing the same duties he has been performing.

In accordance with the above, the CSA HQ site has been moved. The new address is:

http://www.rumple13.us/CSA/CoA.htm

CSA officers: please review the eligibility requirements for the CSA CoA (Club Rule 3.3.4.2). If you are eligible, consider if you would be willing and able to serve the club in this capacity. If you are not eligible (or if you ARE eligible and you are not able to serve in this capacity at this time), please consider who you would like to see in this position and contact that officer to encourage him.

I will be appointing a Nominating Committee shortly to oversee the election. Details will be forthcoming.

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory

My Dear President Sir:

I do not know if this is the proper place to do this but I would like to nominate our beloved VMI leader, General Nick Knuz for this position if he would take it.

He has the skills and the time in grade for this position. If this is not the proper location, please advise me by email or post here and I would be honored to re-post this nomination.

General Tisdale,

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but according to Club Rules (3.3.4.2.3) nominations are to be presented to the Cabinet.

Please hold onto your nomination until a Nominating Committee is formed and the groundwork has been laid. We want to make sure any and all candidates have equal opportunity to be nominated.

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory
