I am playing a full campaign and suddenly my units have all changed different colors.this actually makes them easier to keep together and keep track of but some of them are blue.light blue in field but dark in woods and this makes them look like yanks which means on a large field like I"m on now I could loose them thinking their enemy troops.how do i get my lovely butternut color back and get rid of this nasty blue?

More information is needed.

What game and version? What options are used? Are you using brigade colors?

Does this occur with other HPS ACW games?

It sounds like you might have activated the "Divisional Colors" feature, which is a nifty trick to keep your units together (as you mention).

I don't have my game open, but it's a checkmark either under "view" or um... Gah.

Anyway, look in the dropdowns for that, and if it's checked, uncheck it.
