Post subject:  Greetings From A "Newbie"

Good day gentlemen, and to you southern boys too. I have been a club member for some time now, but due to some technical issue, the details of which I have no knowledge, which have now been resolved, I have been unable to post. Since those issues, whatever they were, are now resolved, I will be able to post, so thought I should introduce myself.

Welcome to the club, Lt. Davis. I'm happy to see that your
posting issues have been resolved. It's nice to have one more
of you yankees to kick around.

Lt. Davis

Welcome to the club. Don't worry about them Rebs, they talk alot bigger then they really are.
Drop on by Rosies some time and have a drink on the Rebs some time. Well, they wont admit that it's on them but it was captured from their supply wagons.
Anyway, welcome to the club and enjoy puttin' a boot in their butts. They would try the same but they don't have any boots.

The only time we have no boots is when you yanks cause us to wear them out chasing ya down for a fight[}:)][:D][;)]

Now the new LT will not have to worry I am sure he has not learned to fear us yet[}:)] but he will[;)] If he needs a lesson I have plenty of young hungry(for more victories)Lts in the AotM that will be more than happy to give him his lessons[:D]

But as Brig. Gen. Gery Bastiani pointed out we will buy him a few drinks first.

As for Rosies, last time we visited there we saw few yanks, guess they were a hiding.[8D]

Well welcome now Lt. Davis. Better late than never. And don't let those good ole boys scare you. But you do have to make picayunish shore you can understand them when's they is offerin' up a termination bid. Take thair threats with a grain of salt...they could well say "ya all stay ratcheer," meaning like in the same spot, while thar off gittin' thar gracious plenty of arns, and then become confused and return with "a heepa" arns for getti' out the wrinkles instead of shootin' arns...ahhh...you git the idea. They aren't any tougher than the rest of us. Drink up and git all shed of that fearsome talk of thurn. Cheers and welcome. [:)]
