Ok, you can't rightly call it "leave", as it's work travel.

I've tried to tell my opponents as I've gotten the last round of turns out, but in any case, I'll be out of town most of the rest of the month. Frankly, the stress and combat that I face is such that even the most fearsome Rebel Charge at Gettysburg pales in comparison.

First off, I travel off to the wilds of sultry Houston for a fun filled exercise in Church Politics. Though, there are times I will wish I could turn out the Provosts I expect.

Then, I'll be back for three hectic days of trying to get the work of two weeks in, but the following Monday, I'll depart for five days at Church Camp.

Indeed, Gettysburg is starting to look downright relaxing!

Gary,

Remember to visit the local battlefield while in Houston.

Think Texas War of Independence.

You may want to pack your waterwings, depending the route you're taking through Texas with all of the rain they've gotten. Wish we could of got some of their rain. We're 12 inches below normal, crops aren't growing like they should. Then in April we got a late freeze and lost a lot of peach crops, at least it didn't hurt the blueberry crops. But with it being hot and dry theres a state wide ban on outside burning. Have fun in Houston and stay cool

Respectfully,
