I'm currently playing a mirror match of Campaign Corinth and think I've secured the Confederate States' independance as I've just captured General Grant at Grand Junction after recapturing Corinth in the previous battle.

The Union Dept of the Tenneesee is having a bad day. McKean and his division have been surrounded and put through the meatgrinder at Grand Junction (they may last two more turns) while Stanley's division has failed to hold La Grange.

I hope you rebs don't have awards for this sort of thing...

(I could, of course, pretend it never happened.)

Respectfully,

If you are part of the AoO and YOU captured General Grant. Isn't he on your side DUH HUH [:p]. Guess you Yankees will do anything to get some extra points even capturing your own Generals [:D]

General Laub Suh,

How many points would I get if I capture General Grant? Without switching sides that is, I like my new gray uniform almost as purdy as General Moose's [:D]

Gentlemen,

I was just trying to isolate this vaguely disturbing feeling I'm getting in this, admittedly, borrowed grey uniform. (This butternut stuff looks like it was made by the low bidder - in a disused garage somewhere. Where do you rebels find your contractors anyway?)

Regards,
Chuck Berdanier

p.s. Gen Laub - I appreciate your enthusiasm but, you do realize I'm "playing" the rebel in this campaign. Doesn't wishing me well defeat the great cause of our army?
