You'll find units.bmp files for all the HPS ACW games at my site at
http://home.comcast.net/~krmiller_cor/
provided it is working. Comcast recently "upgraded" my personal webpages last week and they have been down more than not since then.

I was referring to the unit pictures.

If you're looking for 3D icons you might check Rolf Hall's for Franklin. It appears to me that the infantry and cavalry files for Franklin are the same as those for Chick, Atlanta and Vicksburg. These are the 3DUnits100b and 3DUnits100c files and the 3DUnits50b and 3DUnits50c files.

Although the artillery files are not identical the Franklin one has all the icons used in Chick and Atlanta with the only changes being additional rows in Franklin and Vicksburg at the bottom so you should be able to use the 3DUnits100a and 3DUnits50a file from Franklin for all three of those games without any problems.

So if you're using Rolf's files for Franklin you should be able to copy them into the Map folder of Chick, Atlanta and Vicksburg. I would suggest you make a backup copy of the originals somewhere just in case I'm wrong.

Ok cool thanks Ken! The lack of noticeable MODS for the newer games has been a reason why I have held off buying them.

Thanks again!

Leave it to the Cherokee to blaze a trail.[:D] Thanks for the info Ed. I'm purchasing the game this week and I look forward to downloading Rolf's graphics. They are outstanding and add to the enjoyment of the game.
