Post subject:  Shiloh Casualty Computations

We're playing HPS Shiloh Historical Scenario 147 (the Battle of Shiloh with an Exit Hex). We're still in day 1. Union casualties cost more than Reb casualties do. 40% of Union infantry count as casualty points while only 32% of Reb infantry count as casualty points (80% cavalry vs 72%). Are all of the HPS Shiloh scenarios done that way, is only this one done that way, or is it an error? I saw no mention of it in the scenario description.

I told you not to wear those fancy uniforms. Cost more to replace. [:o)]

Sir,

Noticed the same thing in the historical two day battle I am playing. It is a designer's hadicap to balance the scenerios.

It doesn't carry over to the Campaign games.
