Is there an easy way to turn off objective points, easy for those not good with computers?

On the toolbar there is an gray icon that has CSA over USA. Just click on it to unselect and the objective flags will disappear. Or go to the menu bar, select View, and make sure Objectives is unchecked.

With the game file open to your turn, look at the tool bar at the top of the screen, click on the word view, the fourth choice in the list is objectives. Click on the word objectives and the check mark should dissappear along with the flags on the objective hex on the map. Click on the word objectives again and the objective hex is visible again.

I guess I wasn't clear, I want to eliminate the value of the objectives and just make the winner the one that inflicts the most damage, or does what was mentioned do that?

Hi,

Only way I know is get in the scenario editor and remove all objective hexes. Be sure to save under a different name or you might have to change it back. Essentially, it will be a separate scenario.

There is no way to turn off the Objectives inside the game engine. However only the First Side gets VP points for the Objectives so if you subtract the Objective Points listed at the top of the Victory Dialog from the Total Points at the bottom you get the Casualty Points difference. You can then use this to determine the Outcome of the game.

Be advised that some scenarios use the objectives to force a fight or to balance a scenario so not using them may make it impossible for one side to win.
