I am planning to buy my third game (own Getty and Chick) and wonder which one would allow me the most game play in the club? Lt. Elkin 1/3/8/AOS It's just like shooting squirrels, only these squirrels have guns |

I don't think it really matters as they all see play. If you go with the one that interests you the most you'll find someone to play against you. General Mark Nelms 6/3/IX/AoO "Blackhawk Brigade" Union Military Academy Instructor Union Cabinet Secretary |

I agree with Mark. Pick one that interests you and you should be able to find someone. Ozark can be a kind of fun change of pace from the others, with its smaller units and more obscure battles. Lt.General Dale Lastowicka XIX Corps, AOS |

Hi, Lieutenant, I think each game has its pros and cons. Like Dale says, if you like small battles and the trans-Mississsippi, Ozark is a good game. If you like a lot of musket-armed units, Shiloh, Peninsula and Bull Run provide them, as well as Ozark. If you want large battles, you already have two good ones, but Atlanta, Antietam or Chancellorsville would fill the bill. Peninsula has a lot of large units. Most games have a lot of scenarios. I think there is a thread where folks listed their favorite games. I will try to find it. And here it is! http://www.wargame.ch/board/acw/topic.a ... s=campaign MG Mike Mihalik 1/III/AoMiss/CSA |
