The drinks are on me as the Union Military Academy celebrates its victory over the Vicksburg Military Institute in the third Commandants' Cup tournament. It was close, but after two years in the wilderness, we're pretty pleased with ourselves. To our opponents, thanks for the challenge, and we look forward to you trying to take the cup away from us next year! Gen. General Perrenod, General, congratulations to you, your staff and faculty at UMA on having won Double Canister (Commandants Cup Challenge). It was indeed a close contest but you and your boys prevailed. We at VMI also look foreword to relieving you of the Cup next year.
