Hi, Don, Looks like you covered the best of that part of the country. Glad you are having a good time up there. But all I have to say is God bless Texas! MG Mike Mihalik 2/4/I/AoMiss/CSA |

Don you are indeed the stealthiest Reb out there...why I'm surprised you didn't get a personal tour of the whitehouse while visiting washington city.[:p] I hope you were able to get a good gander at the layout of earthworks and forts in the surrounding country side...that would come in very useful to General Early. Best to you and your wife during your remaining time in yankeedom and a safe and swift return to the wholesome embrace of your sweet southern home.[^] We surly did miss you in Nashville last month....but perhaps it was just me that missed you....seeing as how well you can blend into the surroundings[;)].
General R.A.'Bob'Weir ![]() ![]() CSA Eastern Theater Commander ![]() ![]() |

If you are still in the area, you should leave out seeing Brandywine. They have a visitors center, but not much else. The majority of the locations are on private land, like Chadd's Ford. Ernie Sands, General 4th Brigade, Cavalry Division, XIV Corps, Army of Cumberland, USA ![]() ![]() ACWGC Records Site Administrator |

General Adams, You may wander about up there at will. Gather a few hundred supply wagons. Take your yime. Relax. Those are Yankee cavalry patrols....Everybody know Yankee Cavalry is incompetent. You are perfectly safe! Enjoy..... BG Hank Smith Army of Georgia Smith's Corp Commanding |
