Just saw on my home page that some student and his teacher found what was an Union prisoner of war camp close to Savannah,Ga. it was called Ft. Lawson and housed prisoners from Andersonville after that camp was close. But it didn't say active for very long, about 6 months, when General Sherman came through he burnt it to the ground. |

Given all the Union prisoners the Western Theater has coming in do you think it is possible to reactivate it? |

Don't know but that sounds like a good idea, but we'll have to make it bigger though |
