Hi gentlemen, I am in the process of buying a new laptop (I still use XP on my desktop) and was curious if the HPS Civil War Series is compatible with Windows 7??? Thanks comrades!!! |

It is very much compatible. I just got a new computer (old one was 8 years old), with Win7 and find it is very, very good. All I did was remove my GAME hard drive from my old computer (I had gotten a ESATA drive for the old computer) and put it in the new and ALL HPS games worked flawlessly. I did follow the advice at: http://www.hpssims.com/vistahelp.htm and moved ALL the HPS games as suggested. You could do something similar with your laptop, by using a HARD Drive external enclosure. They run +/- $50.00 and usually can us USB 2.0 or Firewire for the transfer. If you have a lot of games, etc, it is well worth the effort, IMO. |
