Looks like there is a new set of games fixing to come out that will be in direct competition with HPS ACW.

I doubt this will game will see much action, plus he (programmer) hints that there could be only one such game made "if there is not much interest". The programmer does not even answer direct questions, but gives "pat" answers. (In the Matrix Forums) So, game/bug fixes and the like might not be forthcoming.

There is no hint of game play, like is it real time or turn based; will it have PBEM; how will it handle MP games.

FOF does have PBEM and is a WEGO system, so maybe "Brother against Brother" will be similar.

Hopefully it will be published. It will be interesting to see how they make the translation to regiment level. The embedded version in FoW had a number of flaws mostly created by the need to handle random maps, brigade level play, and quick playing time. Being linked into a strategic game made it unuseable if one actually wanted to play the strategic game in their life time. While I played a few games of the tactical I never did enough to get a feel for how well it worked.
