A reminder to those of us not affected by the U. S. eastcoast hurricane that many in the area of concern have lost power and may be offline from the Internet for a number of days as a result. |

Just got power back tonight. Have to say of all the modern conveniences to be without, running water was the one I missed the most. Before the storm we put a barrel and several buckets under the roof eaves to collect rain water and as we had 8 1/2 inches of rain in 24 hours there was plenty of water to be had, it was just hauling it around that was a pain. Hope everyone else made it through safe and sound. |
