Gentlemen <salute>
The topic has aged somewhat, so Nicodemus thought it necessary to provide an update to the "Gator Challenge" battles against the mighty AotS. You might remember (or not) that we were forced to accept the mulitple challenges because the AotToothless wasn't able to assemble a single division to meet us
The latest reports from the front on the confrontation between Gator Alley and the Army of the Shenandoah:
"Gator Scrap" being fought at HPS Corinth between the Gators under the command of Brigadier General Tom Moore and a team from VI Corps commanded by Lieutenant General Ambros Tremel is progressing. Latest reports indicate that dusk has set in and the Yankees are suffering a major defeat. 4 turns remain to be played.
"Gator Oats" being fought at HPS Gettysburg betwen the Gators under my command against a team originally commanded by Lieutenant General Ned Simms. The Yankee team has seen a reduction in members, having lost Ned Simms and Mike Seger for unknown reasons (to us). The remaining members of the Yankee team (Ernie Fantini and Tim Wheeler) are attempting to capitalize on the advantage gained during the day's fighting, however dusk is approaching. The Yankee team is currenlty 205 points on the positive side of a draw. 42 of 200 turns have been completed.
"Gator Bloom" being fought at HPS Gettysburg between the gators under my command against a team commanded by Lieutenant General Niall Murphy. The Yankee strategy has been to oppose our infantry with their cavalry, with the expected results. Our forces enjoy a solid minor victory with 25 of 200 turns completed.
"Gator Klebbe" being fought again at HPS Gettysburg between the Gators under my command against a team from 3rd Division, VIII Corps commanded by Brigadier General Dave Kleebe has yet to see any major contact. 23 of 200 turns have been completed, with a draw the current result.
