Thanks, Ned! I visited the site twenty years ago but all that was there then was a plaque. I tried to find the Valverde battlefield on that trip but was unable to get to it. |

Dang it, wish I had known about this sooner and I would have made plans to have gone, only about 6 hours from here. Really not much of a trip if you live in West Texas. |
