General Ringbloom <salute>

Suh, things seem to have gotten out of hand recently and I offer my appologies. I retratct nothing said, however I do know and have known from the time I joined the ACWGC that you are a valued member of the club.

I pray we can put the past where it belongs and work together to improve the enjoyment of the ACWGC.

Sir: I was to blame as much as you as I over-reacted. I accept your apology and in return offer mine. The AotM will always be our favorite Confederate Army so perhaps we tend to be more sensitive to matters belligerent. I hope we can continue on with friendship but still carry on with the mild banter that makes these posts so enjoyable.
I am, your servant in all respects,

Well, this is all very well and good, but it still looks damn peculiar to see an elephant on a Confederate banner! Will this beast be present at those wonderful parties that Cam throws from time to time?

Well then.... that's wonderful.

I polished my dueling pistols... had the servants cut the front lawn.... made a batch of Arnold Palmer's and Mint Julep's.... asked the doctor to stay on call... and now there is no duel... I see... there goes my Friday night.

Luckily Cam says he has a boxing Kangaroo that we are going to put in a ring with some Yankee prisoners.

General Meyer <salute>

As a matter of fact, I do remember the "Grape Nuts" dude lol

I'm 52 and grew up in nowhere, Louisiana, with a party line and three TV stations. I won't bore anyone with the details of what are very fond memories of days gone by.

Oh, boy! Here we go! I once thought that I actually saw Gaddabout in his hip-waders through the window of the California Zephyr as it topped out of the Feather River Canyon up around Portola! There he was flipping that fly rod in the Feather's headwaters and waving up at the train in the late afternoon as we sped on by. Then I thought that I heard him buzz the train in his plane a few hours later as he headed for home! At least that's what my Dad told me what happened.

In those days the Feather River had fish. Now there is a limit of 1 catch/day.
