Eastern Theater Commander Handover Parade: Parade Commander (Gen Stewart Stiles): Parade Shun! Fall in by Brigades and Divisions! Brigades and Divisions will dress by the right – RIGHT DRESS! Parade EYES FRONT! March on the GUARD! (Guard Commander is Lt Gen Steve Kitchen) Parade at EASE! Look Out (Fld Ahlf): General Stiles the Reviewing Officer is approaching Suh! (In a high pitched voice - he is only 15) Parade Commander: Parade SHUN! General McOmish: At ease Men Officers and Gentlemen of the fine Armies of the East we are gathered here today to say farewell to your Commander; General Blake Strickler and to welcome your new Commander; Major General Robert Busey. I have every expectation that General Busey will continue to maintain the high standards set by General Strickler. I would like to thank General Strickler for his fine service as the Eastern Theater Commander. General Strickler will now review the parade Parade Commander: PARADE SHUN!!!!! Brigades and Divisions will form up for the march past, Guard leading, PARADE RIGHT TURN! Guard Commander: GUARD BY THE RIGHT QUICK MARCH!!! General Strickler is given the eyes right by each regiment in turn. All the regiments have now returned to their original positions on the Parade The march past is completed Parade Commander: THE PARADE WILL NOW ADVANCE IN REVIEW ORDER!!! PARADE BY THE RIGHT QUICK MARCH!! PARADE HALT! - GENERAL SALUTE PRESENT ARMS!! General McOmish: General Stiles, General Busey and distinguished guests shall we adjourn to the Officers Mess and join in the bearfest? Once the guest have left; Parade Commander: GUARD SHOULDER ARMS!! MARCH OFF THE GUARD (1 minute later) PARADE DISMISSED! |

Well Done Gentlemen and such a lovely day here in Richmond for a parade! Thank you Gen. Blake for your service as Eastern Theater Commander, Maj. Gen. Busey the best to you as you begin a new command. Quote: "I'll stand for a round if you can get my wallet away from Nicodemus" Why Lt.Gen. Herbert I thought that gator skin was your wallet

Yes, I will have a drink! I had brought my wallet today in anticipation of buying but with Neal so graciously offering... golly! I can put my money away I guess. Congrats Maj. Gen. Busey and best of luck! |
