ATTENTION TO PARADE!

I have been authorized to announce the following commendations for Major General Derek Hampel, Commander of the Second "OLD RELIABLE" Division, XV Corps, Union Army of the Tennessee, for his demonstrated initiative and contributions to the enjoyment of the American Civil War Game Club by designing, assisting and hosting a number of club wide tournaments, based upon his own skillful modifications of the JTS/HPS systems. His work in fashioning the Our Division's Honor game, the Big Ten Tournament, the Pemberton Gets Help Tournament and his presentation of the Harper's Weekly simile have materially raised club interest and activity, while proving additional challenge and participation.

By the authority of the Union Army Western Theater Commander, General Ernie Sands,
Major General Derek Hampel is awarded the Union Army Exemplary Service Medal

By the authority of the Union Military Group Commander, General Michael Dowling,
Major General Derek Hampel is awarded the Union Army Outstanding Service Medal

And by the authority and approval of the ACWGC Cabinet,
Major General Derek Hampel is awarded the Legion of Merit Medal
