Gentlemen and Sirs, I am pleased to announce that the Union Army has acquired the excellent services of two more newly qualified Lieutenants -- August Hu and Steve Archer. Their tactical prowess and fierceness in battle is unmatched, and we anticipate the addition of many more southern battle-flags to northern museums due to their future exploits on the field of battle. Please join us in celebrating their fortunate selection to the Union cause. Drinks are free while their gold holds out. Come one, come all. Another cause for celebration: This makes 15 new officers who have graduated from the Union Military Academy this year, in addition to 8 returning Union officers who were reinstated, as well as 2 formerly underfed and under-clothed Rebs who saw the light and joined the gallant Union cause. |

You Yankees just don't know when to quit! At some point the Club should just have a final elimination tournament. Last side left standing wins permanently. Then we all go back to real life and stop the "foolishness" as my wife calls it. I think all our wives would be in favor of this idea. Therefore, we shall not do it! Battle on...

Did someone mention free drinks????? * orders a shot of snake venom from the barkeep, downs it, and lights a nice, big cigar * Lieutenants, a pleasure to make your acquaintance! General Meadows has forgot the first rule of ACWGC! "There is no ACWGC!!!!!"  (someone please appreciate the Fight Club reference) I'll warn you, sirs, if you are wearing or carrying anything remotely new...keep a good eye on it. This includes, hats, boots, shell jackets, gloves, cigar cases...you get the idea.  Looking forward to reading some AAR's of these two new Lieutenants making the Johnnies run all the way to Richmond! <salute> |
