Officers of the ACWGC <salute> It is my pleasure to announce the Cabinet's unanimous approval of the promotion of these fine Officers: 1) To Brigadier General: 1a - Col. Dan Castro (30y.245 OBD points) Col. Castro has actively engaged on the field of battle. He has received both the Jefferson Davis Medal of Recognition and the Patrick Cleburne Medal of Service, as well as the VMI Medal for Honor. 1b - Col. Andreas Wessling (310.550 OBD points) Col. Wessling has actively engaged on the field of battle. He has received both the Jefferson Davis Medal of Recognition and the Patrick Cleburne Medal of Service, as well as the VMI Medal for Honor. 2) To Major General: 2a - BGen David Moser (1153.530 OBD points, and Command of 1st Division, II Corps, Army of Northern Virginia) General Moser continues to actively engage on the battlefield and has led the First Division, II Corps, Army of Northern Virginia for several years. He has received the Jefferson Davis Medal of Recognition, the Patrick Cleburne Medal of Service, and the Samuel Cooper Medal of Service. 3) To Lieutenant General: 3a - MGen Blake Strickler (607.920 OBD points, and Command of Army of Northern Virginia) General Strickler continues to actively engage on the battlefield and leads the Army of Northern Virginia. In addition to having received both the Jefferson Davis Medal of Recognition and the Patrick Cleburne Medal of Service, he has been awarded the VMI OCS Medal & Ribbon for having served as an instructor for ten cadets at VMI. He has served as Recruiting Officer and Chief of Staff to the CSA Chief of the Armies. In addition, he has organized several tournaments and continues to be a driving force in the CSA. Please join me in congratulating these gentlemen and wishing them the best for the coming year. |
