... has to be Sherman, right?

Why is that?

You almost have to have a favorite Sherman quote. And the options to choose from are so many.

"If I had my choice I would kill every reporter in the world, but I am sure we would be getting reports from Hell before breakfast."

A sentiment I am sure shared by every general before and since.

Sherman sure was something, one of my favorites is.. “ Grant stood by me when I was crazy, and I stood by him when he was drunk, and now we stand by each other.”

Makes me laugh and harken to my military days as well, sometimes the sentiment with my friends these days too! :D
