On behalf of the Confederate Chief of the Armies, Gen. D.W. Mallory, I am honored to announce the awarding's of five Pierre Beauregard Medals.
The Pierre Beauregard Medal is awarded to any Confederate officer accumulating 25 battle victories in the Department of Records. For each 25 victories they earn they are awarded a Pierre Beauregard Medal in honor of the accomplishment.
After comprehensive changes in the CSA Awards system, we are now catching up on missed awards over the past year or so. We will continue to distribute these awards until we have duly honored each deserving Confederate officer for their achievements.
