In line with what Ken Miller has posted, I have encountered situations where the replay I view is from a different game -- my opponent apparently has more than one going. The .BTE subsequently opens to the correct game, which is also the situation if I skip the replay. Do not know the sequence of events at the other end, however.

Yes that's one of the things I have observed. Also I have occasionally had a game file crash when I try to watch the replay and then work fine if I tell the game not to run the replay.

I close the game after I send the move. Reopen it when I get the next turn.
