I downloaded and installed the 4.01 updates. A couple of the titles which I own (Atlanta and Corinth) are missing scenarios, and the scenarios which are displaying as available are giving MAP errors when attempting to load. I also updated Gettysburg, Overland and Petersburg. The latter appear to be OK with all scenarios installed.

I installed Atlanta and Corinth a 2nd time with the same results. Checking the SCENARIO folder for these two shows that the scenarios are indeed missing.

Are any others having the same problem?

Robert Ciolek was reporting a similar issue. I have heard of unexplainable errors popping up.

I have only updated Antietam but have noticed nothing.

I had the same problem with Atlanta Gettysburg and Corinth. I downloaded 4.01 and no scenario's when i opened the game. I had to download Those 3 games completely again. When completed I checked and all 3 are showing the scenario's now and the 4.01 update.

It has been a number of years since I wrote install scripts for PCs, but that sounds like the problem here. Lynn states that Gettysburg was missing scenarios initially, but in my case it was OK. To me this says that the update file is correct -- assuming it is a discrete entity --, but the coding of the installer has a bug of some sort. It is deleting existing files but failing in some manner to install those contained in the update file. This would also account for the MAP errors I described.

I will leave this to WDS to sort out.

I tried Lynn's approach and downloaded Corinth and Atlanta 4.1 a second time. Installing them left me in the same place as before. So, I did the following:

1. Removed Corinth using 4.0 download; installed 4.0 and checked. Installed 4.1 and this worked.

2. Removed Atlanta using 4.0 download; installed 4.0 and checked. Installed 4.1. No "dice". In fact, the game opened with 4.0 as though I had done nothing. Can't explain this.

3. Removed Atlanta using 4.0 download; installed 4.0 and checked. Installed 4.1. This time the game opened in 4.1, but with no scenarios.

4. Removed Atlanta using 4.0 download; installed 4.0 and checked. Installed 4.1. SUCCESS!!!!

I guess it is a matter of "Do you feel lucky today?". Something is amiss in the install, but WDS might take a look.
