Officers of the ACWGC! On behalf of the Cabinet, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the promotion of Lt. General Bill Schwartz to General. Lt. General Schwartz joined the ACWGC in 2020. Upon graduation from the Academy, he was assigned as a Brigade Commander in the Army of the Potomac. Lt. General Schwartz is an enthusiastic gamer and completed 32 matches in the first year of his membership. In all aspects of game play, he comports himself with honor and dignity and he has fought every contest to its conclusion; never walking away from a game. Maj Gen Schwartz has never missed a muster. It was his excellent gaming record and eagerness to serve that caused me to offer him the position of Army Chief of Staff; a role he has fulfilled to the highest standards. So much so in fact, that he was selected to serve as the Commanding General, Army of the Potomac, a position he has held since the UA reorganization in Fall 2021. Please join me in congratulating this fine member of the ACWGC for this well-earned and well-deserved recognition of his service. <SALUTE> |
