In a Club whose existence spans a quarter-century it is only human that we occasionally make errors in our bookkeeping. The John Dragan Medal (formerly known as the Joseph Johnston Medal) has been around for the past twenty years. It was designed to honor Confederate members who achieve the mark of 1,000 OBD points while a member. For each additional 1,000 points the member receives an additional John Dragan Medal.
In the history of the Confederacy we have had 1,245 enlisted officers.
Of those there have been just 118 officers who have achieved this distinction (less than 10%).
The following officers are hereby awarded their belated John Dragan Medals in honor of their achievements. These medals will be added to their Department of Records dossiers as a sign of respect and thanks from the current members to the former ones.
