Good morning folks. I'm a new cadet, one of the newest I suspect, currently undergoing basic training under the aegis of General Strickler. As a proud son of the Deep South and a descendant of Confederate soldiers on both the maternal and paternal side, I naturally enlisted in the Army of Northern Virginia. I am really happy to be here and I look forward to engaging in games etc with y'all -- once I get to the point where I can offer a decent challenge to you more experienced folks. I'll very likely be begging for some maneuver battles as I unlock the secrets of the game mechanics.

My games include Gettysburg, Antietam, Chancellorsville, Overland and Forgotten Campaigns. In the latter I'm mainly interested in the Red River Campaign. I reside not too far from Mansfield and Pleasant Hill, Louisiana and one of my folks was in the Crescent City Infantry (CSA). I'll probably look to get Vicksburg, Peninsula and Petersburg at some point. (I also have a number of the Napoleonic series; myself and my closest friend PBEM Austerlitz).

Regards to one and all!

Mr. Holloway,

You are most welcome to the forces of the CSA. You are fortunate and in good hands under the tutelage of General Strickler, heed his words and you shall soon join us on the field of battle.

Hey there Johnny Reb! Welcome. I'm just finishing up my training match, but possibly might you be interested in your first run against a fine Union junior officer when you're ready? I have Gettysburg and Overland, but when the time comes I'm going to add Shiloh, Antietam, and one other soon.

Hit me up if you're game and through training.
