| Post subject: | John Tiller games on the iPad? |
Greetings all. Has anyone played the iPad ports of John Tiller games? The Civil War ones include Antietam, Shiloh (half the scenarios as union, the rest as Confederate) and one called "Battles" which just seems a sort of intro to the Tiller system. Not a replacement for the PC games, but I was glad to discover them as I'm traveling on business without my "gaming laptop," on which are nothing but WDS games (along with Grand Tactician and a few others). I've played the iPad JTS apps before. No offense to JTS or WDS but they do not translate well to the iPad format. Some games just work really well in one format or another and there's nothing you can do about it. Just my opinion though. |

If you need a game "fix", the IPAD games are an adequate replacement. |
